Your tyres are telling you what is wrong
A truck tyre almost never wears evenly by accident. Pick the pattern that looks closest to yours and we will tell you what is causing it and what it costs to ignore.
Which pattern matches your tyre?
Look across the full width of the tread, not just one spot.
What this means
Inner edge wear
This is a guide based on what we see in the workshop. The only way to be sure is to put the vehicle on the alignment gauges and look underneath — drive in any day, no appointment needed.
Why uneven wear costs more than the tyre
A heavy truck tyre is expensive on its own. But uneven wear is never only a tyre problem — it is the visible end of a fault that is also loading the springs, the bearings and the chassis unevenly on every kilometre you drive.
Fix the cause and the next set of tyres lasts its full life. Replace the tyre and ignore the cause, and you will be buying the same tyre again in a few months.
What we check
- Camber and toe on every axle, with laser gauges
- Axle squareness — whether the axles are parallel to each other
- Leaf spring condition, sag and broken leaves
- U-bolts, shackles, pins and bushings for play
- Bent or twisted axle housings
Send us a photo of the tyre on WhatsApp and we will tell you what we think before you even drive over. +971 50 997 8160
